On September 13, NVF Counselor Louis Geiger, aka Echo-Xis-Golf,  participated as an artist in the Veterans Creative Arts Festival. This year the West-LA VA’s creative arts program hosted the National Veterans Creative Arts Festival. Sponsored annually by the VA and co-sponsored by civic groups and other veteran service organizations at VA medical centers nationwide, this program builds emotional, physical and social comfort and stamina for veterans.

Louis’ artwork “Seen Him Before” was selected
for the national competition

Art and talent categories included painting, drawing, photography, digital art, poetry, music, and many other sub-categories. Marine Corps Veteran Louis Geiger Jr. and Army Veteran Eugene Rivera were among many veterans who submitted their artwork for the competition. Winners will advance to the national competition.
