NVF Women Veteran Outreach Director Featured on KTLA

KTLA Kristine HesseThe National Veterans Foundation Women Veteran Outreach Director Kristine Hesse was featured on a recent KTLA News segment on the subject of Post Traumatic Stress in women Veterans.  The subject of women Veteran PTSD and suicide received national media attention recently when US Air Force Captain Jamie Burnett committed suicide.  It is suspected that Burnett was sexually assaulted while serving in Afghanistan.

Kristine served in the US Air Force for 24 years as a Personnel Specialist with various organizations throughout the world. She joined the NVF in 2013 as a Fellow from The Mission Continues, a nonprofit organization that supports post 9/11 Veterans by giving them an opportunity to serve again, but this time at home.
