Dave Clanton, Director of Operations

Meet Dave Clanton, who joined us September 1, 2020 as Director of Operations. Dave is an Army veteran of 20 years, whose military career was followed by a successful career in both the profit and non-profit sectors. He holds two master’s degrees: Business Administration and Human Resources. His military career was centered around the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, CA, where he both studied and then taught. Fluent in Korean, he served as a translator at the highest levels.

No stranger to service organizations, Dave’s resumé includes an impressive amount of volunteer work for various charities. He came to us fully informed on what we do and he set to work immediately, creating systems and protocols to keep the office running smoothly and relieve Founder Shad Meshad and manager Rich Rudnick so they can address other issues. A perfect fit for us at the perfect time, the whole NVF team welcomes him.

An avowed car enthusiast, you wouldn’t guess that in addition to his military and business careers, he’s been a test driver for Porsche (!). Dave lives in Redondo Beach with his wife and two young sons.
