A Salute to President George Bush

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of President George Bush on the passing of our last war Veteran president.   NVF Founder and President was fortunate to meet President Bush in ’92 at the White House and was struck by the respect and camaraderie he showed to the Vietnam Veterans gathered for the event, the 10th anniversary of the Vietnam War Memorial.  President Bush asked the gathered Vets in a private meeting, “How am I doing?”
