BetterLife Keeps Making it Better!

BetterLife Team with Survivor Boxes

Last summer BetterLife Insurance Company chose the NVF as the charity recipient for their 125th Anniversary. Shad flew out and experienced why the Midwest is called the heartland. BetterLife helped us celebrate our 38th Anniversary by making a generous gift.

But it didn’t stop there. One of the core values of BetterLife is its commitment to their communities and the people they serve. They have an ongoing charitable outreach in the communities where the company’s policy holders and workers live, and it’s driven by the employees of the company.

When BetterLife’s Mary Holm heard about our Survivor Boxes program from Shad’s presentation, she and some of her colleagues took it on themselves to organize the purchase, packing and shipping of items to go into our Survivor Boxes. They shipped us more than fifty boxes. It was just coincidental that their team and ours wore blue tees on the mission!
