The NVF is partnering with Working Pictures, Inc. (www.working-pictures.com) on a documentary about Shad Meshad’s 50-year war against veteran suicides and homelessness entitled “The Mad Man,” Shad’s moniker when he was called to Washington to develop the Vet Center Program. Filmmaker Bobby Sheehan has already started production, in addition to filming Shad and NVF staff on outreach Los Angeles’s homeless population.
