Rick Seaman Stunt Driving School Celebrates 20 Years with Event and Fundraiser for the NVF

NVF Board Member Rick Seaman celebrated the 20th Anniversary of the Rick Seaman Stunt Car Driving School with a ticketed day-long party at  his ranch with music, entertainment, food, and both kinds of spirits. Of the 300 guests, about 40 were associated with the NVF and the rest were from the entertainment industry, including Dan Lauria, Kevin Dobson and Jane Austin, president of SAG-AFTRA. Many top stunt drivers were there including Jane Austin, who is a friend of Rick’s wife, stunt driver Lori Seaman.

As part of it, Rick conducted silent and onstage auctions of sports and entertainment memorabilia garnered by NVF staff Micheal Washington and Gerald Hillard as a fund-raiser for the NVF. In addition, Rick donated the proceeds of the admission gate after expenses. At the end of a warm, beautiful day, over $15,000 had been raised for the NVF.

Rick, a decorated combat Vietnam veteran, has been an NVF board member for over ten years. He and Lori, who is also a stunt driver, have opened their home for the NVF on many occasions. As one of our NVF staff said, “Rick and Lori sure know how to throw a party!”

Rick Seaman’s Stunt Driving School is personally instructed by Rick Seaman who has over 40 years of actual motion picture stunt driving experience.

The school opened in 1997 and has trained over 1,600 stuntmen, stuntwomen, actors, actresses, and many others who have taken the course to improve their personal driving skills.

3 day stunt driving classes include the Super Level I entry class, and the Super Level II advanced class. We also offer defensive driving classes for young drivers, as well as Anti-Terrorist/VIP protection driving programs.

The school also offers Executive and Corporate programs.
