NVF and Veterans Stand Together

The NVF partnered with Veterans Stand Together (VST) to help a veteran whose locker/storage was broken into while he attended VST’s guard card course. VST reached out to our Director of Ops, Mario Sibrian.

Everything in the man’s locker had been stolen.

The Vet was looking for combat boots. He’d received one of the red backpacks the NVF provided to VST, but needed more to start his new job.

NVF and VST partnered with other organizations for clothing donations that included new boots, new running sneakers or “Go Faster’s,” a couple of jackets, and a few accessories.

Additionally, Humanity Heroes provided him with a backpack full of hygiene kits and cold-weather accessories such as gloves and a scarf.

The donations would hold him over until his first paycheck at his new job at Treston Security, a partner organization of VST. The Veteran, who was doing every right thing to get back on track, was grateful. Connection and community can really make a difference!

You can be a part of our mission to help Veterans by making a tax-deductible donation!
