Our Giving Tuesday Counselor

If you saw our Giving Tuesday Facebook post on May 5, then you’ve met Mario Miramontes. He grew up in Los Angeles, Harbor Area, and went to Banning High School. He joined the Marine Corps straight out of high school. Trained in San Diego, he’s a “Hollywood Marine.” Mario is working on a podcast on veterans’ issues to be broadcast from his father’s restaurant. Collaborating with him are NVF Counselors Gerald Hillard and Louis Geiger on a project to broadcast meaningful comic relief to veterans at home. He does Digital Peer support even on his spare time. Mario says, “I am here to be of service and to be the best I can be.”
