Veterans Benefits
Welcome to our Veteran Benefits Resource Guide. The purpose of this section is to provide Veterans and their families an overview of the federal and state benefits available to them. The VA can provide health care, education, insurance, help with buying a home, funding to veterans disabled due to their service, burial in a national cemetery, and sometimes all of the above for family members of servicemembers and veterans. Some states provide additional benefits, such as property tax reductions or additional educational benefits. In this section you will find the eligibility requirements for the various benefits, how to apply for them, an overview of what the benefits can do for you, and how to get more information. Wherever possible you will find links to the actual laws and regulations governing the benefits.
These pages are a distillation of over twenty years of experience of helping Veterans with literally every kind of issue that affects their relationship with the VA. We hope that you will find them useful, and will appreciate any feedback from the Veteran community on how to make them better. You can use our contact page to make suggestions.
