My Dad (Srg. Alan Brannon) was an on the field RN Medic in Desert Storm. He took our wounded soldiers off the battle line to safety to try and take care of their wounds. Little did he or others know that due to the chemicals in the air, he would die of MS, ALS, and another nerve eating disease caused by those chemicals! He died before he even got to see 55. My Dad, like so many other soldiers did not stop fighting when he got out of the Army. He fought the diseases the war gave him until his very last breath!! A few weeks before I lost him, I asked him, knowing what he would have to endure for the rest of his life, would he do it again? He said absoluty! May God have mercy on our veterans!!!!
