Joseph Schifilliti

Artemus “Art” George, Atlanta, GA and Portland, 45, passed away April 4, 2017. Art served in the United States Air Force; was a veteran of Desert Shield/Desert Storm and was a member of the first unique transportation services established by the USAF BBE. He was awarded an Air Force Commendation Medal, National Defense Medal, Southwest Asia Medal with 3 Bronze Stars, Kuwait Liberation Medal (Saudi Arabia), Kuwait Liberation Medal (Kuwait) and a Liberation of Kuwait Commemorative Medal. He then graduated from Georgia State University and the Chubb Institute of Technology. He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Jill Fishman George and by his father, Amos George. He was known for his infectious laugh, generosity toward others and his love for cars, motorcycles and Jill.
