Welcome Home, Kristine!

Kristine Stanley, MSgt, USAF (Ret.) joins our Board. It’s a pleasure to welcome Kristine to the Board of Directors. She came to us in early 2013 from The Mission Continues after her retiring from 24 years in the Air Force. As the first director of our Women Veterans Outreach, Kristine helped shape the program until her departure in 2016 to work with other veteran service organizations.

Her involvement in the community has brought the NVF recognition in new places and more importantly, set us out as an organization with a focus on women veterans, an underserved segment of the veteran population. In 2013 Kristine founded and still co-chairs the Women Veterans Working Group at the LA Collaborative, an active network of veterans service organizations in the Greater Los Angeles area. Since 2016 she’s served as Chair of the California Women Veteran Leadership Council (Cal Vet). From 2015 – 2018 she served as Chair, Veterans Advisory Committee for Los Angeles County.

Stanley holds a Master of Business for Veterans from USC, a Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Argosy University.
