NVF Women Outreach Coordinator Leaphy Khim was featured in a My Motto: Veterans Edition.  

This special edition of “My Motto” is dedicated to Asian American Veterans in honor or Asian Pacific American History Month. The piece features three U.S. veterans from different branches.  The veterans share the struggles and challenges faced when reintegrating into civilian life, as well as their fruitful experiences in the military. My Motto Features Asian-American Trendsetters

My Motto is an original digital series on Myx TV featuring Asian-American go-getters, doers, trendsetters, and aspiring artists determined to build the kind of life they WANT to live.

Leaphy Khim, Women Veteran Outreach Coordinator served the United States Marine Corps for 8 years from 2002 – 2010 as an Electrician and PWST (Peacetime / Wartime Support Team) officer. She served with the 6th Engineer Support Battalion, Bridge Company Bravo in Folsom, Pennsylvania. During her time in service she supported a few charitable and humanitarian projects which fueled her passion for helping others.
