Subscription & Accounts Processing Coordinator

Job Description:
This person will handle administrative and operational responsibilities for the Jossey-Bass imprint’s journal subscriptions along with standard customer care activities. Assists with the management of the delivery of mailing labels to expeditors, invoicing of Associations, generating fulfillment reports, postal issues and related accounting matters, as well as warehouse and inventory issues. Act as a liaison with the Journals Account Manager and the Business Development Rep processing their complex bulk orders. Answer customer calls, take orders, and resolve inquiries and problems.
Job Requirement:
Requires excellent phone manner and communication skills, as well as excellent customer service skills. Two to three years of experience in customer service, publishing or a related position. Excellent attention to detail, decision making abilities, typing skills and experience working in a fast paced environment are essential. Ability to multitask and work with colleagues at all levels of the organization, and those outside as well. Requires excellent computer skills including MS Word and Excel. 2-year degree or equivalent working experience desired. Knowledge in the use of order entry or subscription based systems preferred. In order to work with our East Coast colleagues and customers, the work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday beginning at 6:30 a.m.
